Improve your mind power

Using some techniques we can improve our brain power. It's not a joke...of course it needs to do some practice....Memory is the process of registering, consolidating, storing, and recalling information.Poor memory does not mean that your brain lacks something.Atypical human brain is functioning on low capacity. Although the idea that a normal brain only uses 10% of its capacity is a myth, it is true that most people's brains are not functioning properly. For example, studies show that the brains of many people, when confronted with a problem, will actually switch gears and start working less! Instead of switching to logic and "work mode", the brain switches to patterns of frustration and emotion. Most people have simply not learned to "turn on" these higher cognitive abilities when the time is right. Most people are unfamiliar with the states of intense concentration and laser-like focus that come so easily to the great thinkers of our time.

Just use some following tips

Create mental images:
Visualise in your memory an image of something or someone you want to remember.

Remind your memory:
Remember everything that you did in the day at the time of sleeping.

Make use of your senses: Collect information from your senses to amass the memory traces which help you remember people, places, or events.

Make new connections: Making new connections is the process which relates new information to what you already know thereby making the new information easier to recall.

Grouping: Sorting and grouping are ways of categorising data to provide memory traces to aid in recall. Relationships among major groups and among the items in each subgroup create the connections which make all items memorable.

Repetition: Repetition helps you hold information in your short-term memory as your working memory organises and integrates it into long-term memory.

Memory aids: Memory aids are concrete reminders - notes, calendars, pill safes - which help you remember.
